Your Biggest Battles Can Be the Ones in Your Mind

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
-Philippians 4:6-7

Have you ever had a battle of the mind?

Do you struggle with negative thoughts?

Have you ever dealt with unfounded fear, worry or doubt that you can't get past?

Do you seem to have the same unproductive thoughts over and over again?

If you answered "yes" to any of these, you know how challenging battles of the mind can be. The fact is, the battles you face are won or lost by the way you approach them in your mind.

Second Corinthians 10:5 (NIV) says, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." The next time you have a personal or professional battle, commit to using these resources to help you fight:

* Prayer
* A prayer partner
* A Christian accountability partner
* Praise songs
* Scriptures
* Ask God for His help

My Challenge to You:
If you're having a battle of the mind, invite Christ into the battle. After all, the battle is the Lord's and He is powerful enough to overcome any battle you may have.
